Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity >

With Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity, you have the opportunity to build in your community.

  • We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with God and families in need.
  • By working side-by-side with the family who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when a family is able to realize their dream of homeownership.
  • In order to participate, all volunteers must register online on our volunteer website and sign up for an opportunity.

Court Mandated Community Service Hours

  • We require that all court mandated community service hours must be through Kane County and must be requested in writing and sent to us from Kane County Probation Services BEFORE any hours can be worked. You will not be able to work with us until we have the approved paperwork. Please do not sign up for any shifts until you are approved. Please contact Barb Zegiel at b.zegiel@foxvalleyhabitat.org or 630-206-5038 for further instructions.

How can children get involved in the volunteer process?

Children are a very important part of Habitat for Humanity. Many children live in the homes that Habitat builds. To find out more, please read our age guidelines in our Volunteer Policy & Procedures on our volunteer website. Contact Julie Clark, Volunteer Coordinator, with any questions at j.clark@foxvalleyhabitat.org.
