
Community Service InformationHabitat for Humanity Lake County (HFHLC) provides volunteer opportunities for individuals who need academic service hours, court-ordered service hours or pre-court recommended hours. Please see the appropriate agreement under GETTING STARTED for the requirements and expectations of our organization for this type of volunteer work. We do not accept volunteers who have committed any type of violent crime, crimes against minors or sexual offenses. Hours required for theft or robbery will be handled on a case by case basis. Age requirement: All HFHLC volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. |
GETTING STARTED: Read, sign and return COMMUNITY SERVICE AGREEMENT, or, Read, sign and return ACADEMIC SERVICE HOURS AGREEMENT WORKSITE ASSIGNMENTS & HOURS: HFHLC will determine the location of your required hours (ReStore or Construction), based on our needs and your availability. Construction: Tues-Sat, full days only, 8am-4pm ReStore: Tue-Fri Minimum 4 hours starting at 9am, or, Saturday minimum 6 hours starting at 8:30am TRACK YOUR HOURS: Confirmation of hours will be based solely on a completed & signed time sheet.
