• TRIPLE the number of corporate volunteers serving Chicagoland communities
• Raise awareness for Habitat and our corporate partners
• Raise funds for Habitat’s growth

Habitat for Humanity is not a giveaway program. We provide a hand up, not a hand out. Habitat Partner Families invest 500 hours of their own labor (sweat equity) into building and rehabbing their homes and the homes of their neighbors. In addition, Habitat homeowners complete financial and home management workshops to prepare them for successful homeownership.
Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans through Habitat for Humanity. No outside bank is used for these loans. Mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses.
