McKinsey & Company

McKinsey & Company

In 1926, McKinsey & Company was founded with the belief that companies have an opportunity and a responsibility to use their knowledge and capabilities for good—to help solve the country’s most pressing economic and social issues. Opening their first office in Chicago, our honoree has worked in partnership with Habitat for Humanity for decades to help provide affordable housing for Chicagoland’s citizens.

The KCH Team represents Chicago Association award winning developments for affordable housing and sustainable change in underserved communities. The KCH Team is a multiple recipient of Chicago and office "Top Producer" awards for sales and marketing.

Kimberly is an attorney who started her real estate career as an Associate litigator on one of the largest Class Action suits in United States History. Pigford vs the USDA argued the Department of Agriculture's disparate treatment of the marginalized in their mortgage lending practices. The case shined a light on the Government (and private sector) history of the taking of property from minorities. It was during her time defending the rights of Black farm-land owners that spurred Kimberly's appreciation for the need in advocacy of fair housing practices in lending and affordable housing. It also signified the importance of real estate ownership in ensuring equitable justice and financial longevity for everyone.
