Stronger Together
Across Illinois

Effective June 30, Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity and Habitat for Humanity of Illinois have merged to strengthen support systems, expand statewide reach, and increase access to affordable homeownership opportunities across Illinois.

Habitat for Humanity of Illinois helps raise awareness, supports capacity building, and provides resources to empower Habitat affiliates while they are on the ground making a difference in their local communities.

Supporting Veterans at Home

Habitat for Humanity of Illinois is honored to receive a $100,000 Illinois Veterans’ Cash Grant from the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs to expand our Veterans Home Accessibility Program. Funded through the Illinois Lottery’s Veterans’ Cash program, this grant will help provide critical home modifications for veterans with disabilities, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, accessible bathrooms, widened doorways, and other safety improvements.
