Home construction & reconstruction
Families in need of a decent place to live build safe and affordable homes in partnership with DuPage Habitat. We do this by working with future homeowners and the community to build new or rehabilitate existing homes throughout DuPage County. DuPage Habitat has developed units ranging from single-family homes, to duplexes to townhomes.
We offer home repair services to homeowners so they can continue to live in safe, decent homes for years to come. DuPage Habitat for Humanity's Home Repair program is designed to improve the quality of life and living conditions of low-to moderate-income homeowners by focusing on both exterior and interior home repairs.
DuPage Habitat’s neighborhood revitalization work is transforming the Greenbrook Tanglewood Community in Hanover Park into a vibrant, safe place to live for current and future residents.
Neighborhood revitalization embraces an integrated, collaborative approach to community development. We work in coalition with neighborhood residents and partners to address the many elements that contribute to a higher quality of life, including health care, safety and economic development, in addition to housing.
As part of it's neighborhood revitalization efforts in Hanover Park, DuPage Habitat will construct 27 new townhomes in the next 3 years on Greenbrook Court.
