About Habitat in Chicagoland
Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity (CHFH) is a support organization for the eight Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the Chicagoland area with a goal to significantly increase the number of families served in the region. There is a staggering need for housing support in the Chicago metro area and an opportunity for Habitat to do even more than it does. CHFH was created to leverage capacity building, growth, marketing and advocacy by working in collaboration with the eight affiliates across Chicagoland.

Why Habitat is Needed
Chicago is experiencing a housing crisis and homelessness is on the rise.
Habitat for Humanity International has grown dramatically since it was founded in 1976 and is now a true world leader in addressing the issues of poverty housing.
The eight Habitat for Humanity affiliates across Chicagoland not only build new homes and renovate older homes, but build community and transform lives.
