Youth Volunteer Opportunities
There are many ways you or your youth group can get involved with DuPage Habitat.
Act! Speak! Build! Week. Building alone cannot provide shelter for the 1.6 billion people who currently live in poverty housing. Act! Speak! Build! Week serves to educate others by expanding the scope of Habitat’s mission from raising a hammer and raising funds to include raising your voice.
Building with Youth Building with Youth is a 4-part program that involves learning about Habitat, helping DuPage Habitat by doing at least two approved activities and reflecting on the experience. Each participant who completes the program will be presented with an award of participation. This program can be implemented at the convenience of our youth volunteers. Download our Building with Youth document to learn more.
Become a Campus Chapter. A Campus Chapter is a club that has an official partnership with DuPage Habitat. Chapters hold their own events and participate in education and advocacy to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness by building adequate and basic housing. They also raise funds towards building a youth sponsored house.
