DuPage Habitat has received and dedicated two donated pieces of equipment from CNH Industrial, continuing to grow the partnership.

CNH Industrial and DuPage Habitat for Humanity have recently grown their partnership. Through an impactful donation of a backhoe and skid steer, CNH has committed to helping DuPage Habitat provide strength, stability, and self-reliance for future Habitat Homeowners. The equipment will leave a lasting impression in DuPage County, as well as the Chicagoland region. CNH, The Village of Hanover Park, and McCann joined DuPage Habitat to dedicate the equipment and celebrate the partnership by cutting a ribbon in Hanover Park.

DuPage Habitat intends to use the equipment for the excavation and construction of the build site in the Greenbrook Tanglewood neighborhood of Hanover Park, the location of 27 new townhomes. The homes constructed at these sites will house families in need who have completed sweat equity hours and will begin paying an affordable mortgage for the home.

Chris Stello, Director of Construction at DuPage Habitat, said, "I cannot begin to express the gratitude everyone from our affiliate and all the Chicagoland affiliates feel toward CNH for this incredibly generous donation. The saving opportunities this machinery presents will not only directly impact the work being done on the 27-unit townhouse project in Hanover Park, it will have an immeasurable ripple effect throughout our work in the communities we all serve. Thought it hardly seems adequate, on behalf of the DuPage affiliate and the rest of the affiliates in the surrounding area, Thank you to CNH for their continued support of our mission. We might get the recognition for the work we do but it’s the partnerships we have with amazing organizations like CNH that allow us to help the people and families we serve."

Partnering with Habitat is an excellent way to promote your corporate social responsibility goals while making a lasting impact. We offer a variety of outlets for giving, and you and your employees can participate in helping to build safe, affordable homes while strengthening whole communities.
