DuPage Habitat Kicks Off 2019 Women Build ![]() Women Build Martini Centerpiece DuPage Habitat held their Kick-Off for Women Build Week, May 4-11, at the Aurora ReStore on the eve of International Women's Day. Women Build Kick-Off attendees heard first-hand from a Habitat homeowner, who has been impacted by our mission, and learned more about how they can partner with each other to help someone just like them achieve something that we all deserve: a safe and stable home for their children, a place where they'll always be able to return. Your support and dedication enables DuPage Habitat to deliver our mission of bringing people together to build homes, community and hope. At the Kick-Off, Michelle shared the story of her family and the impact their Habitat home has had. DuPage Habitat continue their work because of families in need and because the Habitat vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Watch what a new Habitat home means to homeowners and know that you have the ability to help make this happen. The challenge before us is to continue to raise the resources necessary to serve more families in need. This is possible through a generous commitment from individuals to raise a minimum of $250 towards our $100,000 fundraising goal for Women Build, DuPage Habitat's signature fundraising event.
