Volunteer Opportunities

The driving force behind the organization is its volunteers— those who contribute a day, a week, a few months, to give Habitat’s vision a tangible form. Help build, serve on a committee, provide lunches at the construction site, help run our ReStore, assist in fundraising events, donate materials.

Interested in a Corporate Team building opportunity, most of our Affiliates would be happy to reserve a site for a day to let your team develop in a real building environment.

Donate: Donations of building materials and financial support make fulfilling our mission a reality. Volunteer: Our construction sites and ReStores function with volunteers so keep our homes affordable. Contact a local Affiliate or ReStore to swing a hammer or stock a shelf. Shop: We now have six ReStores in the Chicagoland area contributing to the financial support of our mission.
